Be Scared Kids

La la la, everyday I walk my daughter to kindergarten in the afternoon, no worries, life is good.

But what do I find last week when I get to her school? The doors are locked, there's a camera mounted in the entry way, and a black speaker box is on the wall. To get into elementary school now, you have to push a button and state your name and business!

Thank you for terrorizing my daughter and all her classmates. Thank you for terrorizing me. Thank you for the fear, the worry, the paranoia, the pure anti-american experience of living daily life. Thank you for killing the joy of walking my 5-year old daughter to school. Thanks so much!!
